Citizen of the Year 2024
The annual Citizen of the Year Award was announced at the Village Fun Day in September 2024

The 2024 Citizen of the Year award was made at the Village Fun Day held in the Village Hall on Saturday, 14th September.
The citation read
“This person is a member of the PCC and plays the organ in church.
She organised a pop-up choir to sing at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The choir has now become an established part of village life and meet every week to practice and go out and sing when requested.
She is also running a recorder group which hopes to grow into a pop-up band.
She plays on many occasions at Bitham Hall and the Village Hall for various local get-togethers.
She is also a member of Speed Watch and helps out whenever she is asked”
The Citizen of the Year for 2024 is Jane White
