Woolavington Litter Pick Saturday, 25th April
A litter pick has been arranged to take place on Saturday 25th April in the morning meeting at 10.00 a m at the Village Hall and 10.15 at Bitham Hall.
Woolavington is a medium sized parish situated alongside the B3141 on the northern slope of the Polden Hills. It has a modern village hall, a large playing field with a pavilion and sports pitches, two other smaller play areas and a range of shops and businesses.

National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) will be carrying out piling works at the Woolavington Substation site from 8 April 2026 for approximately one week
There will be a daytime temporary road closure for 2 days starting on 20th April
National Grid Electricity Transmission has announced a temporary change to the route used by construction vehicles accessing the substation platform off Woolavington Road. From 19 March, and for approximately three weeks, construction vehicles will use the A39 and B3141.
