Playing Field Update
Temporary measures have been put in place to protect the playing field from unauthorised access.

Most people will be aware that a large number of travellers gained unauthorised access to the playing field off Sedgemoor Way during the evening of Friday, 29th May.
Arrangements were made to secure the services of bailiffs to ensure that they left the site as soon as possible but fortunately they left of their own accord during the evening of Monday, 1st June.
No serious damage occurred but an unpleasant mess was left behind. The Parish Council would like to thank members of the Woolavington Community Foundation and local residents who volunteered to work so hard to clear the mess and restore the field to its normal condition on the morning of Tuesday 2nd June.
Work will need to take place to make the field more secure and as a temporary measure large concrete blocks have been placed at the entrance of the car park to prevent vehicle access. Pedestrians can gain access as normal. It is hoped that people will understand the need for this action.
